My name is Jonathan Smyth, but better known in most circles as “Biscuet.”  It’s a nickname I’ve had since I was 12 years old and it’s pronounced like the food.  The nickname comes from a mishap in a spelling competition where I embarrassingly misspelled “Biscuit” and have been known as “Biscuet” ever since.

I live in Beijing, China where I work on a plethora of exciting projects specifically relating to an NGO that places North American English teachers in Universities through Asia.  Most of my work falls in the category of marketing, but I’m often the creative director and executive producer for films, photo projects, web and print media design.

I enjoy meeting people, being involved in the community, creating new ideas, drinking coffee and engaging in conversation.
