I hope they know how much i care.
I hope they know that when we ride buses together and eat together and talk together and laugh together my prayer is for God to burn these memories into the depths of my being. Literally every time i am with these friends i pray that i will never forget our moments together. When i see them laugh i thank God for their smiles. When i see them cry i break with them and pray for comfort. When we share moments of joy and all is right with the world i always wish that time would stand still and this moment would never end.
When we are all together and i look around at all the smiling faces i feel like i must be the most blessed person in the world. When i think about leaving or i think that one day they will graduate and go on with their lives i am overwhelmed with emotion. Sometimes i wonder if it’s worth it to pour so much of myself into these friends only to see them go or to know that i must leave for a little while. The feeling of separation seems unbearable. There is a bond between us that is strong and everlasting.
I hope they know how much i care. I hope they know that i can never forget them.
I hope they know they have changed my life.
