7 Reasons Why The Bachelorette Sucks
I’m out of the loop on American TV. What should i be watching? “The Bachelorette” is terrible.
1. When you get married, who’s going to be around to arrange and pay for all your fantasyland dates?
2. How many relationships succeed when you know your girlfriend is out making out with other dudes?
3. People fear rejection. This show magnifies this ingrained fear.
4. You put on your very best act not so you can win the girl, but to make sure you don’t get sent home to mommy and your crappy job.
5. The girl is encouraged to cheat. Let me know how that works out later in life.
6. It’s a game of who can be more impressive. Have fun playing that game for the next 50 years of marriage.
7. It’s a fantasy world. What happens when you make your final decision and the cameras leave, the limos leave, and you go back to your dirty apartment with the stack of bills and the molded cheese in the refrigerator? Good luck with that.
These people are idiots. And no, i don’t watch the show. I was with friends who were watching it while i read on the internet and wrote this rant.

A hearty amen! My friend and I were in the same position last month when we were all together for Memorial Day. We sat in the other room and talked while everyone watched the show. haha
I think half of it is kinda bogus, anyhow. Seriously. It’d be better off as a made-for-TV-movie.

Well…I guess that would have been more than “last month.” It’s July already? Yep.

Watch “The Mole” or “Wipe Out”
Both are on ABC Monday night and Tuesday night.

you should most definitely catch up on LOST if you haven’t already! that show is intricate, confusing, and entertaining. you might get hooked and not be able to stop, though.
by the way, my name is JoJo. I discovered your blog a while ago, but this is the first time I’ve left a comment so I just wanted to introduce myself.
it’s been a blessing to read what you’ve been doing in china and to see your love for Christ through it. I hope all is well and settled in now that you’re back home!
God bless,
JoJo Nieves

Seriously Biscuet? I don’t see the problem - I think TV definitely needs more objectification of men AND women, as well as examples of dysfunctional relationships so we know what what NOT to do. I mean, I DVR all the dating reality shows, and never EVER miss an episode of Flavor of Love.
*said in the most sarcastic tone possible… plus, I don’t even have a DVR*

The only thing I watch right now is So You Think You Can Dance. One of the top performers is a hiphhop dancer named Twitch who is really Stephen Laurel Boss, age 25, graduated from Lee High.
