Awesome Weekend Roundup

Maybe i toss around the word “awesome” too much… but this time i mean it, the weekend was amazing. People love bullet points, so again, i give you my weekend in bullets:

  • Undefeated in ping pong!
  • Ate Al’s fine greek cuisine….twice
  • Hung out with the hipster scene (see post below)
  • Most productive board meeting yet with Bedouins International.
  • Photo shoot = awkward, yet awesome
  • Hung out with Jeremy and Wes from Thalon and She Dances (a non-profit battling against human trafficking).
  • Met an Aussie that loves to pound the drums.
  • Good times with Nate and Stephen from gi inc.
  • Amazing… yes amazing… worship with Jason and Daniel at Workplay.
  • Following Workplay was a great dinner with Daniel, Jason and band. Good times, lots of laughs and inspiring conversation.
  • Seriously, if you haven’t downloaded Daniel Bashta’s album, go to www.danielbashta.com and do that now… for free.
  • Got back to Auburn at 1:00 a.m. It was worth it.
  • I hope you’ll click around on some of those links and give my friends some love.

You got me with #1… I love ping-pong. Played it almost every day growing up and I think we had tournaments in our garage any time we could get more than two people together.

we never kept score when we played ping pong…and i remember scoring a few points. then the pizza came…so i actually could have defeated you, ruining your record.
    just a humble thought…

Dog urine in the elevator. That’s all I’ve got. I’ll let you explain that one to your readers. hahaha

well…you know…you were only in the country for so long, I just thought that it was the honorable thing to do to let you win a few games and feel good about it when you left…

oh, and today the dog urine in the elevator(which was cleaned up finally) was topped by a dog poo in the lobby. I thought about taking a picture for you, but then decided otherwise.
