I Have Stories to Write

October 16, 2009

I have tons to tell you. I have stories that will make you laugh. I have stories that will make you gasp. I have stories that will make you… i don’t know… but they’ll do something. I have stories.

My friend Patrick told me that i must tell you some of my stories from Mongolia that i recently shared with him. There’s one involving a drunk guy in a park and then there’s another story involving some monks at a temple. I don’t want to give too much away, but i have stories.

Then there’s the story about the dream i had the other night where i woke up laughing. Have you ever dreamed something so funny that you woke up laughing? That happened to me a few nights ago when i was in Mongolia. I’ll need to tell you that story. It might embarrass my good friends, John and Matt, but the rest of us will love it.

And then today i was getting my haircut and thought that i really need to tell a story to paint you a picture of what this haircut place is like. Getting my haircut is one of my favorite activities. There is always something amusing going on. More on that later.

The bottom line is this: i’m walking out the door to go meet friends for a Friday night dinner and a trek across town to hear some live music. But don’t worry, i have stories to tell.

Next week i will be traveling between Beijing, Siping, and Changchun shooting photos for a book i’m putting together for some friends of our organization. In the midst of all of that i will be periodically telling you some of these fascinating stories. So look out because the coming few days are going to be “Story Time with Biscuet.”

Keep it real, friends.
