I like David

Let’s be honest, anyone that lives 10,000 miles from home has moments where they try to figure out what in the world they are doing. Why do i live here? Am i making a difference? Is this a good use of my gifts and talents? I think everyone asks these questions at some point, but living 10,000 miles from home makes them hard to answer sometimes.

Then there are moments where i get small reminders that give this whole thing meaning and purpose. For me, i need to know that somehow what i’m doing is inspiring others to follow their passions and dreams. I want to know that my chosen path of life is encouraging others to be deeply involved with the lives of people and culture. You can go across the street or across the globe, just go and make a difference in someone’s life. Follow what your passionate about. Live fully.

The other day i got an email from a complete stranger telling me that she somehow found my website through another website. She and her 14 year old nephew, David, watched all of my videos and had a great time laughing at me. She said what i’m doing made her nephew think about how his life could affect people even in his small town in central Florida. Amazing! Absolutely amazing. There are many reasons why i feel compelled to live here, and one of them is to encourage people like David.

David, go for it my friend! Just go for it. Change lives right where you’re at. Be the light in the darkness. Be a voice of Hope. Shine bright. Reflect Greatness.

My desire is that we can all press on living life abundantly, full of grace and peace. I deeply want us to live lives that burst with love and laughter, joy and thanksgiving. Follow your heart. Dream big. Have vision for greater things.

I like people like David, they spur me on.

Great post man, I like people like David too. Kinda makes all the silly antics worth doing. Even if you feel stupid at the time. (I just have to get the guts to do it)

You are such an encourager- you set the example for others to be brave and bold, even though it’s scary at times. Keep setting the bar and keeping it fun so others will want to go on this journey too. Love always…
BTW love the “ants in the pants” analogy Lana.

    I like him too!

Thanks Biscuet for being the “kewl dude in the videos” that sparked a desire in my nephew to serve God more…keep on keeping on…we are watching!

    Davids Aunt

(The Aunt said like the New England and eastern Virginia commonly used “New England broad a,” a vowel similar to French /a/[a] and having a quality between the /æ/[a] of hat and the /ɑ/[ah] of car. The vowel /ɑ/[ah] itself is also used).

That is awesome … but your mom and I have known for a very long time just how special you really are. Keep up the great work.
    Love You….
