Looking Back and Pressing Forward

December 30, 2008

As we get ready to dive into a new year let’s take a moment here to look back before we press forward.

2008 was a big year of transition for me. Moving to China would certainly top the list of transitions. It’s been a whirlwind of learning a new language, a new culture, making new friends and frantically trying to keep up with the current friends. I’ve traveled the globe and met many new people. I’ve written a lot, seen a lot, and captured a lot with a camera. 2008 will forever be a year carved into my consciousness.

2009 is sure to hold many more adventures and stories to tell. There are already new things lining up for 2009 that i can’t wait to announce after the first of the year. I’m waiting for some final decisions to be solidified and then i will happily tell you everything that will be going on. The best part about 2009 for me is that it’s all a mystery yet to be unfolded and a story yet to be written.

I took a few minutes to look back at 2008 and i pulled out some of the most meaningful posts (for me). As we press forward into 2009 i want you to take a few minutes to look back at where i and we have been in 2008. Browse through some of these stories that i’ve written. There are stories of hope, of love, of dreams, of heartache, of friends, of laughter and stories that have shaped me into who i am today. If you are new to biscuet.com then these posts will help show you more about me and the way i think.

Thank you for being here with me.
