COVER STORY: September in the USA
The other night when it was clear and beautiful in Beijing i took this picture:
Then today the smog rolled in nice and thick so i took this picture from the exact same spot:
Beautiful huh? I think i will print both of them and hang them side-by-side on my wall in my office. Oh, where’s my office, you ask? In my bedroom. Pics of that coming soon too.

I was wondering about that first pic when I saw it. Must have been just after a rain. The second pic is more like the Beijing I knew! We took daily smog check pics of the thing that looks like the Space needle from Fengtai Stadium.

That looks about right. I have a great picture from that night, too! You could see the mountains from my apartment and it was beautiful! I heard it was because Kobe was in town why it was so much nicer and gorgeous that day!
