Today i am in Nashville. Nashville is awesome in case you’ve never been. I had a full day of catching up with old friends and meeting new friends. I love it. Tomorrow is full of exciting meetings and then i’m headed back to Auburn.
Earlier today, right here in Nashville, two worlds collided. When i was teaching at a university in Beijing i became friends with a student because of an English corner we were having on Friday nights. She loved the English corners and she loved all the parties we threw for the students. Well, she graduated college and is now getting her Master’s degree at Vanderbilt University here in Nashville. Today we had the opportunity to meet for coffee. It was really cool to see my China life collide with my American life. Wow!!
