Weekend Roundup with Bullets
I like bullet points. This is my weekend. Happy Monday.
- Will came down from Memphis so we had breakfast on saturday.
- Also at breakfast was my friend Chad that loves to talk about China. That means i like him.
- Lunch at home, then a one hour nap. The curse of living in China is that you start to enjoy afternoon naps.
- Met a new Chinese student at a coffee shop. His first words to me, “My english is very poor, can we speak some chinese?” Absolutely.
- Saw the new Mummy movie. Don’t go see it. Trust me.
- Went to bedside baptist.
- 3 hour lunch at Nihon with Katie. She just came back from Hong Kong so we needed that time.
- Dinner with John and Katie. Good times.
- Ate Skittles.

Your last bullet point kills me!
My weekend was epic (and jam packed). I went home to visit family in Michigan. I’ll hit the highlights:
-Flew in Thursday, hung out at a huge Christian music festival that night with the fam.
-Went to visit a friend at the camp I worked at for 5 summers (up until last summer). Sat on the beach, watched the stars, and talked for almost 3 hours. Got to bed around 2a (which is very late for me).
-Did girly stuff with my mom Friday (salon, shopping and such). Back the festival that night. Tobymac was the headliner. Guilty pleasure.
-Family photo shoot Saturday in the dunes and woods by Lake Michigan.
-Family reunion the rest of the day, which equates to tons of food, beach time, ice cream and general mayhem. It was like Christmas in August, except we traded snow and ice for sun and waves.
-Wound up at the lake and under the stars with more friends in the wee hours of Saturday night/Sunday morning.
-Breakfast at my favorite pancake house with family, church, then packing Sunday morning.
-Drove across the state to catch a flight out. Sat next to the head basketball coach from a rival of my college alma mater. Fun conversation ensued.
-Landed. Got home. Unpacked. Caught up with roomies. Crashed.
It was quite lovely! Sorry that was kinda long, but it was fun to recap!

Hm.
- Drove to the DFW area for a bachelorette party….
- Went to wedding of said bachelorette to our good friend
- Had altogether too much fun with college friends
- Really. WAY too much fun.
- Drove to Lubbock.
- Spent the night at Kristen’s house (in the middle of a cotton field)
- Drove to IOWA.
- Slept in.
- Went to Panera Bread - for the 1st time! crazy.
- Read biscuet.com at Panera and laughed out loud, causing attention.
