It’s the blue skies. It’s the smog. It’s the bicycles. It’s the taxis. It’s the subways. It’s the buses. It’s indescribable smells. It’s the street food vendors early in the morning. It’s men eating with no shirts on. It’s street sweepers with miniature brooms. It’s people staring. It’s “HELLO”. It’s terrible internet connections. It’s smiling faces. It’s cute kids. It’s broken english. It’s my broken chinese. It’s cheesy music. It’s motor bikes and tricycles. It’s electric mopeds. It’s migrant workers. It’s the new upper class. It’s confusing. It’s fascinating.
It’s China. And i’m excited to be back!

Back on line- where are you? Or did you get internet in your apartment. Glad you’re happy to be there, I know your friends are and new ones to make. Love, Mom
