Who Knew
Who knew that going to America would mean i would be so busy. Everyday i feel like i have so much to write here, but finding the time to edit movies and import photos is hard. So, let me just say that i do have a great video of a pagoda firework coming soon and i have an awesome picture of my 4th of July attire.
Also, i have a lot on my mind about life in America. I’ve been experiencing the typical run of cynicism and annoyance toward American culture. More on that later… because you’ll be sure to be entertained by my thoughts on Wal-Mart, fast food, and American consumerism.
I want to thank those of you that i’ve been able to have great conversations with since i got back. I just finished an encouraging breakfast and i’m exciting about the friend i’m eating lunch with in a couple of hours. Later this afternoon i’ll be hanging out with a good friend where we are sure to engage in amazing conversation on how to change lives around the world.
I’m going to make it a priority to share more information here. I’m excited about this summer in America, i’m excited about visiting with friends, and i’m excited about sharing this journey with you.

It was really cool to meet you IRL today. I have always found it amazing how readers and bloggers make a connection without ever really knowing that they have, and most of the time, we are both.
As bloggers, we write sometimes without the realization that someone is actually going to read this. As a reader we come to make this mental connection with the blogger as if we have known them our whole life and have shared in this experience of life together, when most of the time, the blogger doesn’t even personally know the individual reader.
Once in a while the two converge, if even for a very short period of time, and it’s really cool. Your time here in the states will probably go by very fast, I hope you enjoy it while you are here.
