Successful Cookout

I’m always amazed at how flawlessly Dan can cook a delicious meal for a ton of people. It’s an amazing sight to see. He started about two days before the cookout and when the people arrived everything was delicious and perfect. We had barbecue chicken, grilled corn, coleslaw, fruit salad, and a couple of amazing desserts.

The company was great too. If you didn’t make it, well, too bad. I even had two friends drive over from Atlanta just for the cookout!! Amazing.

It was a great time to catch up with friends and relax on Dan’s deck just like old times. Thank you to everyone that came over, it was a blast.

I have uploaded a new album to my photos page called “America Summer 2008.” There are a lot of pictures there from the cookout and from some other things i’ve been doing this summer like a baseball game and a wedding. I’m really sorry to my friends who are embarrassed by their picture being in the album. We’ll take better pictures next time and you can redeem yourself.

On the left is Dan, the amazing chef and host that makes these events happen.

I don’t know about anyone else, but when you are not at an “event” the blog post is talking about, it is really strange to see people you know… I of course know Dan from c-stone, didn’t even know he could cook though, sounds like you guys had a blast.
