I’m still alive

It’s been a whirlwind the last few days. Take a look at this first… (RSS readers: there’s a video below)

How it went down:

Wednesday morning: book international flight, Beijing to Atlanta via Toronto
Wednesday afternoon: book domestic flight, Jinan to Beijing
Wednesday night: Pack. Visit students.
Thursday, 6 a.m: Leave apartment for train station. 30 minute car ride.
Thursday, 7 a.m: Train ride to Jinan. 2 hours.
Thursday, 9 a.m: Arrive Jinan, 1 hour taxi ride to airport.
Thursday, noon: Depart Jinan, arrive in Beijing one hour later.
Thursday, 7:00 p.m: Flight leaves Beijing for Toronto. 12+ hours in the air.
Thursday, 8:00 p.m(eastern time): Flight arrives to Toronto. Missed Atlanta connector.
Friday, 3:30 a.m: Leave hotel to catch shuttle back to airport.
Friday, 6:40 a.m: Leave Toronto for Atlanta
Friday, 8:00 a.m: Arrive to Atlanta
Friday, 10:00 a.m: Arrive to Auburn, Ala.

3 days, 3 flights, 8 hours of sleep.

Now you know why the blog has lacked some content for a few days.

Who wants to hang out?
